ProActive Kids Foundation was created and built on the strength and support of a dedicated group of core partners, each of which has come unselfishly together to address the issue of child obesity in our communities.
For the past three years, these organizations have shown tremendous commitment and compassion by enabling ProActive Kids to do its work. Each organization and the people from within these groups are the true backbone of the PAK team.
Meier Clinic
Meier Clinics is an integral, founding sponsor of the ProActive Kids Foundation. The PAK LIFESTYLE plan was specifically designed by the Meier Clinic staff for children who struggle with unhealthy weight, focused on the peer-to-peer and societal issues our kids face. Meier has provided infinite volunteer hours in the area of curriculum development, onsite program leadership, and board-level management for ProActive Kids.

Right Fit Sport Fitness Wellness
Right Fit is a 6,000-square foot “inclusive” fitness facility located in Willowbrook, Illinois. Every square inch of Right Fit and its fitness and wellness programs are designed to meet the unique needs of its clientele. Included in this one of a kind facility is a “Sensory Room” for special needs populations, 25-yards of artificial turf, cardiovascular machines, Olympic weightlifting and power lifting equipment, plyometric boxes, kettlebells, zumba and yoga instruction, a rock climbing wall, and so much more.

Wheaton Park District
The park district provided ProActive Kids their first “home” at the Rice Lake Community Center. By granting PAK optimal facility space and endless fitness supplies as well as marketing and administrative support, the park district’s support has been vital to the execution and growth of the ProActive Kids Foundation.
The Wheaton Park District’s mission is to enrich the quality of community life through a diversity of healthy leisure pursuits and heightened appreciation for our natural world. They offer a wealth of programs for individuals and families to explore, learn and socialize.
FORWARD (Fighting Obesity Reaching healthy Weight Among Residents of DuPage)
FORWARD has grown from a small organized planning effort in August 2008 to a county-wide leadership effort implemented in May, 2009 and anchored by the DuPage County Health Department. The vision of the FORWARD initiative is for all children and families in DuPage County to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
FORWARD works through an inclusive, diverse, informed coalition of passionate individuals, programs and agencies. The coalition consists of healthcare providers, social service organizations, businesses, schools, daycare providers, the faith community, insurance companies, recreation and park districts, and other organizations and passionate individuals interested in helping to create a healthier DuPage County.
